Join Windweaver in Lymington, her home port. Windweaver can be found at berth C13 at Lymington Yacht Haven.
Cruise down to The Needles, passing Hurst Castle located at the end of Hurst Spit. Sail east to Cowes for lunch in Osborne Bay. Take a ferry ashore to Cowes and wander around this historic, bustling little sailing town where yacht racing began in 1826 with the first Cowes week, and where the first Americas Cup was awarded in 1851 to a yacht called America from which the race takes its name.
During your cruise, sites of interest will be pointed out to you. You can relax and enjoy the views or take part in the active sailing of the boat. Take the helm, or if you're feeling energetic, man the winches!
Enjoy a leisurely sail westwards back to Lymington, where a transfer will be available to return you to your hotel. Alternatively you can be collected by Windweaver from Ocean Village Marina in Southampton, just one hour from London by train.
